I love the DJ36 in this configuration. But, I am also thinking that without the Jubilee and fluted bezel, it would be a great sportier watch with the new, larger baton markers and updated dial without the railway tracks. I actually sold my 39mm Explorer yesterday, it just was not working for me, and I missed the smaller dial size. If I wanted a 36 mm Rolex with a smooth bezel and oyster bracelet I'd go looking for an old Explorer. I just don't like OPs in general, so I don't think I'd ever buy one of those. But I would also never buy a DJ unless it had the fluted bezel/jubilee. I get what the purists say: a DJ 36 looks best fluted with a jubilee, that's what makes it a Rolex, yadada.
